Brother Label Printer compatability

Postby r1bby » Thu May 28, 2009 4:40 pm

Evening folks,

I was wondering if anyone has had any success with getting a label printer to work on Mint?

I am currently using Elyssa XFCE and was looking at buying one of these:

Has anyone had any success with these? I've googled this and can find mixed results with other Brother label printers and Linux OS's
but I was wondering specifically this one as it's a good price in the UK and the latest model...

Thanks for any help anyone can shed on the subject...

Regards,
Rob

Brother has good support for Linux, but you have to find it first :)
I have a Brother multifunction that I always get to work (not at first but now :))
Look at this page

A little bit "tricky" but not overly so

Don't fix it if it ain't broken, don't break it if you can't fix it
