AC connector

Post by barburia »

My laptop (Asus x510u series) is connected to Ac Power but Linux Mint says I'm using the battery, however it just keeps saying I have 5 hours 13 minutes of time left whenever I pass the mouse over the battery icon, so it is charging. I have a dual boot configuration and in Windows it detects that AC power is connected.
I want to know if its a problem that Mint does not recognize that it is connected to AC power or it does not matter because in practical terms battery is charging.
I'm sorry for my bad english and I also a Newbie to Linux.

Specs: CPU~Dual core Intel Core i5-7200U (-HT-MCP-) speed/max~2700/3100 MHz Kernel~4.13.0-32-generic x86_64 Up~5 min Mem~811.7/7860.6MB HDD~1000.2GB(3.2% used) Procs~193 Client~Shell inxi~2.2.35. I'm using Mint Cinnamon.
I've added a screenshot. In spanish it says: Using battery 5hours 13 minutes left.
