Razer Naga - Inconsistent loading

Post by Balbaroy »

Hello everyone!

I have been searching the best I can to find an answer to this solution, but I need some additional help.

When I boot up my computer there's a chance my mouse wont load up with the OS. The mouse is a Razer Naga Chroma - November 2014 and I have installed the official Razer Naga drivers for linux from their site.
It will light up and be usable in my BIOS and I have changed and tried different settings with VT-d and have made sure my USB ports are enabled. I am running

Distributor ID: LinuxMint
Description: Linux Mint 18.3 Sylvia
Release: 18.3
Codename: sylvia

The following is my dmesg log -This doesn't happen every time but this is an example of me plugging it in and unplugging it repeatedly until it loads properly :

Why are you changing virtual machine support settings to get a mouse going?

Also, please don't post reams of text like that. It's terrible to try and read. Enclose the text between </> code markers, which you can select from the mini toolbar above the textbox where you type your reply.

...if you're lucky, then most likely that's all that you will need:
http://www.webupd8.org/2016/06/configur ... -with.html
Razer Naga Epic mouse is listed as supported: http://bues.ch/cms/hacking/razercfg.html

Else, there appears that this exists as well:

Thank you for the input! I don't have a lot of experience with posting so it helps to know that trick is available to me. I happen to see on one site that virtual support could have effects on USB devices and tried it anyway.

Unfortunately I have installed all of the following without any luck. I am able to run the services and use them once the mouse comes on, but on boot it still will not load that config right and I'll have to unplug and plug it in until it lights up. Any other logs we could look at?
