Sound reverts to internal speakers on boot

Post by kanichiro »

For the past several years I've had to manually change my default speakers from Internal to External. I've placed a Sound button on my panel so every time I launch Mint, or log back in from the Screen Saver I can easily change the speaker selection to the external speakers I use.

This started about the time I switched from LM 17.** to LM 18.**

Yes, I know that I have an old computer, but I can't afford a new one. Actually, my trusty lappy turns 9-years old next month. I am sticking with LM 18.0 as my ancient computer doesn't like newer versions.
