Shutdowns Frequently increasing Can't dtermine hardware issue.

Hello everyone,
I have recently been experiencing shut downs during gaming and now during any attempt to load the Windows side of my system. I am looking for a way to figure out which part is the cause. Here are my system specs.
MSI 970 Gaming
Amd Fx-8370 Eight Core processor with Corsair H75 water cooler (H75 Brand New)
Zotac Nvidia GeFroce GTX 1050 2Gb
G.Skill DDR3 8Gb X 2
Thermaltake 600W Psu (Brand New)
Three Brand new cooler master fans have been added as well.
I have tried to address the issue of power and heat by replacing some parts as you can see above. The system runs fine in Linux (No surprise) But when I try to boot windows it now powers down. This started with playing Conan exiles and has become progressively worse. I can only guess that soon it will shut down in Linux as well. I believe at this point it is the mother board or processor. Can anyone help me to determine the bad part?

I forgot to add I have eliminated the hard drives as a possible cause. I have installed both Windows and Linux Mint on each drive only Windows causes the shut downs at the moment. I don’t believe this to be software related that’s why I have turned to Linux users.

I would start by going to BIOS Setup and look in the Hardware Monitor. Check the processor and system temps. Also, check voltages. Let it set for about 15 minutes and check again. I especially want to know the processor temps.

Are you sure the H75 heatsink is installed with good contact to the processor and fresh thermal-grease?

If you could please run the following command from Terminal and post back the results, it will help to get your full system specs.

I have run three separate monitoring applications for temp. I did have issues with heat in the system it was hitting temps around 80c before H75. My processor was running in the 40s when it last shut down. In Linux using Psensor the highest I hit was 28c for cpu after running all night. It was formatting my windows drive during that night.

I have watched the temp in bios many times. Cpu usually 26 to 28c.

I also forgot to mention new thermal paste has been applied multiple times when testing and reseating H75. The fan header its plugged into is running at 100% at all times for the pump.

I'm going to suggest the 20.2C temp is perhaps NOT correct for actual temperature on your FX. 20.2C is actually 68.36F, or below a normal room temp of 72F. I know many AMD processors actually report low and have to have an offset added. This article suggests there might be more to consider in getting an accurate temp.

I was interested to see what other sensors where showing. FYI....my Ryzen MB requires I install and load the IT87 module to get all its sensors. The fact I see no voltage, RPM, or board temps make me suspicious. I'm wondering if your board has a thermistor on the motherboard for your processor?

Your results obviously made much more sense. I wondered why mine was missing all that data. I am unfamiliar with thermistor. I will look at the article you posted now. Thanks for your help btw. I’ve been working on this for weeks and I have been burning money.

I just tried to go into bios. While viewing info and changing zero settings it froze. I shut it down waited and booted again. This time it struggled made a short but loud whining noise. It took longer than usual and I entered the bios again. Even though temp is inaccurate as the article stated it had jumped 10 degrees. Does this mean that H75 is defective?

O geez. I forgot an import piece of information. The initial heat problem and shutdown problem was gone for about the first week of H75 use. It then returned.

Its running and sensors-detect is running. Right now its a fresh install of OS with updates. Nothing else has been done so far.
