Hi Friends;
A short while ago I hooked up a VGA to composite video out converter box; see Video adapter disturbes display: viewtopic.php?f=49&t=270933. The display became a low-resolution nightmare that would NOT go away.
After trying a whole bunch of stuff (which I won't bore you with) I figured that the video card was fried, pulling some from the junk box, I found one that would fit and plugged it in. Sure enough, I got the proper display back, but in "software rendering mode". Everything is s-l-o-w an clunky. I suspect that this might have occurred a while back, because it was a bit clunky before, but this is FAR worse. (LM 17.1)
Stuck inside of "Software Rendering Mode" with the computer blues again.
