"Using battery power"

Post by mrturcot »

Im on LM 19 and all of a sudden my laptop stops showing that's its charging anymore and says "Using battery power". I rebooted into windows and sure enough its charging just fine. Its odd because I haven't dropped a battery percent since I noticed, been at 95%. I installed acpi and it shows;

Code: Select all

mrturcot@GL552VW:~$ acpi -bi
Battery 0: Discharging, 95%, discharging at zero rate - will never fully discharge.
Battery 0: design capacity 3200 mAh, last full capacity 2478 mAh = 77%
Haha "discharging at zero rate - will never fully discharge" so you mean charging?? I dont know whats going on here any help would be awesome thanks! More specs below.
