Scaling on 1440p X1 Carbon

Does anyone know how to get reasonable scaling on a 1440p screen.

I've tried switching it over to 'HiDPI' in the general options and reducing the font scaling to about 0.8 or so, just to counteract the overly large components. This works to an extent, but the corner window buttons are tiny. So far, I've only tried this in the test environment rather than installing it, but scaling feels quite awkward at the moment.

Apologies if I'm posting this to the wrong forum, but I'd be grateful if anyone has an answer to my problem.
