Hello,
Amd CPUs are better when all present cores are considered whereas Intel are better if a single core performance is considered. Amd are cheaper than Intel.
So what would be better for a mint machine with no gaming. Any thoughts?
Intel or AMD CPU?

Re: Intel or AMD CPU?
You'd probably be better off deciding what you need to achieve and selecting the processor from there. I run both AMD and Intel Processors in my home network and neither has any advantage to my needs which are basic; i.e.: Word processing, Spreadsheet, Database, Surfing and basic file serving. If your needs are minimal, pick the most affordable solution.
