Hey guys,
So I have an old (XP Era) laptop and I want to find out the name of the audio chipset that was used. If I live boot linuxmint, the sound successfully works.
I've been trying to find the original XP audio drivers for this thing (long story short - I want to run XP on it), but can't find any info on the laptop even in the waybackmachine. So I'm really hoping since the sound works in Mint, that there would be some way to figure out what the chipset name is so I can find the XP drivers for it.
If it helps, It is an NEC VERSA L110 released in 2006.
Architecture & Motherboard Intel® 915GM chipset
Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) 9
56Kbps Fax/Data (V.92) Modem
100BASE-TX/10BASE-T LAN
Intel® PRO/Wireless 2200BG 802.11b/g
Thanks!
