Formatting SD cards in Linux Mint vs MS$

Am having problems with my hunting trail cameras sometimes (not always)
displaying environmental temperature in excess of 67 thousands degrees F.

I am formatting (Gparted) my SD cards on my Linux Mint 19 desktop computer as FAT32.
Is there any possibility that formatting my SD cards on Linux Mint OS computer
is causing this temperature display problem ? I ask the makers of the camera
and like usual they know nothing about Linux.

Yes, I know I can probably eliminate this by trying to format some of them
on MS$ computer but I don't have a MS computer (and don't really want one)
but thought I would inquire here before taking one of the SD cards and having
it formatted on someone else's MS machine.

I doubt that formatting a USB stick in Linux, MS Windows, or Mac is what is causing your camera(s) to record erroneous temperatures.

You can check the camera(s) manual for what filesystem format it is expecting to use and use that probably "fat32", "NTFS", maybe "exFat", etc... Otherwise, I would check the camera's settings. Perhaps the camera's temperature sensor has become faulty or needs recalibration if it has that option. If the camera(s) only supports microSD cards of a certain max size, then do not exceed that.

Wouldn't this most likely be the exact same as using Gparted ?

Manual calls for FAT32.

I have had 6 cameras all of the same Brand and model that have ALL given the 67,000 degree F temperature output.
Two that were originally purchased did this, they were replaced by 2 more, they also did it, those replacements were yet again replaced by 2 more, they
also did the same thing !!!

Am using SD cards as specified by the camera maker.
