Two weeks ago I noticed my keyboard illumination quit working. The only thing I am aware of at that time was Linux Mint 19.1 had me do several system updates all at once. I went in BIOS and turned illumination back on and let it re-boot. At the beginning of the boot the keyboard lit up. When the boot got to the point where the Linux Mint logo with the 5 dots below appeared, the keyboard light went out.
The laptop is a Dell Inspiron 5559 16 GB memory 256 GB SSD with legacy option enabled in ROM. I built this machine in April and the keyboard lighting has worked until 2 weeks ago.
How do I fet me KB to lite up?

Re: Lost Keyboard Illumination
Is there an illumination key on the keyboard, F10 maybe or Fn & F10?
Re: Lost Keyboard Illumination
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! These tired old eyes needed that (I'm 79).
