Either the Hub has gone awol it has had the minimum use or the software can’t handle it?????
can anybody give me a clue
Help Mike

Hi solosuperia,

If the USB hub does not have its own power supply then do not use it because they do not work well or worse they work intermittently. There are many good USB hubs that do have their own power supply and work great in Linux Mint.

Hope this helps ...

Hi Mike "solosuperia",

There is always the possibility that the power adapter has gone bad or a power surge hurt the power adapter and or the USB hub itself.

Can you explain in more detail what problems you are having? What devices are you attaching to this USB hub that are not working? Do any drives attached show up in your file manager?

I have since tried it on a laptop running windows and again dead as a doornail.......
As you said guessing it has been fatally injured at some point.
It has had next to no use so rather infuriating.
Thanks for your interest guys
Cheers

Hi solosuperia,

You are welcome...

That is too bad your USB hub is no longer working, but fortunately, they are readily available at Amazon.com, Ebay, local electronics stores, business supply stores, etc...
