Post by khayyam »

Hi everyone,

when I connected the video projector cable on VGA port, my laptop (screen, keyboard, and mouse) froze and I had no display on the projector.

Linux Mint 19.1 XFCE

Have you checked your bios to see if the vga port has been disabled? If it has then enable it re-boot then try again.
You will probably need to post more info about the laptop make, model etc and the video projector also so others can assist you.

If I remember correctly, type

Code: Select all

inxi -Fxz
into the terminal and post the results here.
