I am also having freezing issues, I don't use the computer much except for occasional internet access and listening to Pandora via Pithos. The problem seems to happen when I'm connected to the internet using a web browser, Firefox, Chromium, it doesn't make a difference. Presently, I am listening to Pandora with System Monitor on, and it has been working fine for the past half-hour. PSU idle control in the BIOS has been set to Typical current idle.
Here is the inxi -Fxz output from earlier this morning:

Mint 19 / Ubuntu 18.04 was released only a few months after Raven Ridge (Ryzen 2200G / 2400G) was released, and back then Raven Ridge was a completely new platform. It takes time for Linux to adapt to this and you need a newer kernel (>=4.19), newer MESA(>=18.2), newer linux-firmware and possibly you need to update and / or adjust some items in your BIOS.

I do not know if Mint has inherited HWE from Ubuntu, but you could try to go that way:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Kernel/LTSEnablementStack
If nothing else works you probably need to choose a different distro, Manjaro apparently works great with Raven Ridge and Ubuntu testing (18.10) has all the required package updates required to run Raven Ridge stable. Ubuntu 19.04 will be released in april and by then there should be no more issues with Raven Ridge in Ubuntu LTS and other distros based upon it (like Mint 20 will be).

I guess we shall see what happens, but this is why I threw the computer in the back of the closet a year ago in disgust and defeat.
Someday, maybe I'll figure out exactly what the hell I'm doing.

Well, so far, it hasn't frozen up yet. However, I am still not ready to declare a victory.;
