I am in the market for a tab that can run Linux Mint 19 (or any Linux, I suppose). The last time I tried this, I ran into a major problem. At the time, the tab I tried this on had a 32 bit UEFI firmware (even though the CPU was 64 bit) and I couldn't install Linux Mint or Ubuntu in the UEFI. This was about 3 years ago, perhaps even longer than that now.
Are there currently any confirmed working tabs running Ubuntu, Mint, or Linux in general? Has anyone else here tried this and succeeded?
