Hi,
I'm currently using Linux Mint 19.01 and my Canon mp560 is running on wifi, The OS easily recognises the printer but doesn't recognise the scanner.
Just wondering if anybody else has this type of printer/scanner running in Linux Mint.
Can't get Canon mp560 scanner recognised [solved]

Re: Can't get Canon mp560 scanner recognised
First thing I would try is to have it connected by usb, if thats possible.
Then you know if all could work... if it is recognised then...
Or did you do that test already?
( My mp170 runs only on usb, but works perfect )

"Or did you do that test already?"
Trying the connection via usb cable would have been the clever thing to do, but I didn't think of it.
I just now connected it up and the scanner works no worries. I'd have preferred it to work as wifi, but never mind, at least it is now recognised by the computer.
Many thanks for your help.
