Touchpad pointer not visible [SOLVED]

Post by Dinosaur1946 » Sat Aug 24, 2019 4:02 pm

Hi All

Just installed Mint 19.2 on a Panasonic C-31 Toughbook.
Initially the touchpad pointer was visible until I plugged in a wireless mouse.
Now the pointer is only visible when the wireless mouse is plugged in.
I can use the touchpad to control the wireless mouse pointer.
However when I remove the wireless mouse the pointer disappears.
I can see where it is when the icons become highlighted, but simply no pointer visible.

If I unplug my Linux HDD and put my Win7 HDD in, the Touchpad pointer is visible.

Have browsed for hours trying to find a solution, any suggestions appreciated.

Regards
EDIT:
My touchscreen was also not calibrating.
Found this solution which also fixed my Touchpad cursor ???
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ta ... calibrator
The script at the end was most usefull rather then calculating the values.
Regards
