RTL812BU Suspend to Disk

Post by fleamour » Sun Aug 25, 2019 7:00 am

The generic Ubuntu guides get wireless working fine & see network connections, however this does not persist past hibernation. I have to power cycle PC to start again.

Anyone have experience with this issue?!?

Hibernation or suspend-to-disk is traditionally a hit-and-miss thing, mainly because of non-standard BIOS implementations. No use spending too much efforts on this, except for the obvious stuff like updating the BIOS and/or switching to another kernel.
