Battery Not Charging

Post by ZappyDolphin »

I have a Fujitsu that I've installed Mint on. A few days ago the battery suddenly stopped charging when plugged in. upower gives the following:

native-path: CMB1
vendor: Fujitsu
model: CP673831-01
serial: 01A-S141210000488S
power supply: yes
updated: Wed 27 May 2020 12:34:43 PM EDT (65 seconds ago)
has history: yes
has statistics: yes
present: yes
rechargeable: yes
state: charging
warning-level: none
energy: 0 Wh
energy-empty: 0 Wh
energy-full: 0 Wh
energy-full-design: 0 Wh
energy-rate: 0 W
percentage: 0%
capacity: 100%
technology: lithium-ion
icon-name: 'battery-caution-charging-symbolic'

I'm not sure if this is a setting/driver issue or that the batter is now kaput. Any help would be appreciated.

My first thought would be the Battery. have you checked the power cube to make sure it working, I had one that the wires in the cord broke and would only charge in a certain position. If possible measure the output of the charger. It would be very unlikely to be a software issue. but not unheard of.
Good luck.
