system freeze when any video is displayed
Posted: Wed May 27, 2020 7:50 pm
Hello,
System info below. Randomly, my PC will freeze when either a video file is started ( I use VLC ), or a video on a webpage is played (I sure firefox or chromium ). Its not a condition I could replicate on demand - could happen after 5 minutes, or a few hours. A reboot is required. PC is clean inside and has good ventilation. My gut tells me its related to the GPU built into the processor, but its so random i am not certain. "Freeze" meaning input from keyboard or mouse has no effect, but mouse cursor still moves freely. Any suggestions? Thanks for your time.
