Touchpad lags after taken off stand-by

Post by mn2609 »

I am using the HP Envy x360 Convertible. The touchpad works fine without tuning necessary.
That is, except I come out of a stand-by phase. Randomly, the touchpad will start lagging, not register movement or presses correctly or blocky.
I've found some information concerning this, but only for problems that are permanent. Restarting the computer solves the problem, but it's definitely not a satisfying experience to not be able to use stand-by basically.

Edit: I am currently running the previous kernel, as there were some issues with the current version and I had to blacklist it. The issue happens on both kernels.
