issues with HP Pen on HP Probook

Post by c00w »

I've the following problem: every time I use my Pen on the Screen, the touchscreen is disabled until i logout. Even if the Battery from the Pen is removed. After a new login without a reboot, the touchscreen works fine until i use the Pen.
Technical data:
Host: user Kernel: 4.15.0-91-generic x86_64 bits: 64 compiler: gcc
v: 7.4.0 Desktop: Cinnamon 4.4.8 wm: muffin 4.4.2 dm: LightDM 1.26.0
Distro: Linux Mint 19.3 Tricia base: Ubuntu 18.04 bionic
Type: Convertible System: HP product: HP ProBook x360 440 G1 v: N/A
serial: <filter> Chassis: type: 31 serial: <filter>
Mobo: HP model: 84D8 v: KBC Version 23.29.00 serial: <filter> UEFI: HP
v: Q98 Ver. 01.08.01 date: 07/18/2019
HP Pro Active Pen 408 G1

I'd like to use the Pen for taking notes and use the touchscreen for zooming (more or less) simultaneously on the note sheet (xournal++).
Could someone help me?
Kind Regards
