Xbox controller with LM 20.1 - trying to get working

Hi,

LM 20.1, Cinnamon.
Blueman installed. Bluetooth headphones work.

Using Blueman, the problem is the Xbox Wireless Controller rapidly connects and disconnects. The three symbols denoting connection flash on and off.

I have attached a screenshot showing the moment the connection is on, orange/green/blue.

With my working Bluetooth headphones, the three symbols remain on.

Hopefully there is a solution?
