The output below indicates you are running with the Intel iGPU right now. The last person I helped with a fresh LM20.1 install showed the same information when using the Intel graphics even though the Nvidia drivers were installed. In that case the code was blacklisting both the Nvidia and the nouveau drivers which results in a power savings.
Graphics:
Device-1: Intel UHD Graphics 620 vendor: Hewlett-Packard
driver: i915

Device-2: NVIDIA GM108M [GeForce MX110] driver: N/A bus ID: 01:00.0
chip ID: 10de:174e
Display: x11 server: X.Org 1.20.9
driver: modesetting unloaded: fbdev,vesa

You can run
dpkg -l | grep -i nvidia
and post the results here for us to verify the all Nvidia driver files installed.
Then run
mokutil --sb-state
to see if Secure Boot is on. That can prevent the Nvidia drivers from loading on boot.
However, it is likely all are installed and you may just be running into the disappearing nvidia-prime-applet issue. The fourth post in this thread
Disappearing Nvidia drivers :Prime the prime suspect? describes a one line code fix (editing line 34) for a know bug with some of the graphics files related to Nvidia.
After making that change, I expect you will be able to see the nvidia-prime-applet and can switch to On-Demand mode or Nvidia mode and when you reboot you will see
nvidia
instead of
N/A
.
However, not all laptops are responding the same way to the code changes, so let us know the output of
inxi -Gx
after you make the change.
