Cinnamon freezes, only mouse pointer can move around. Linux Mint 19.2

Hi. I have an issue, when I try to play videos with Media Player it suddenly freezes and only mouse pointer can move around.

VLC works around just fine.

you have a Nvidia graphics card and will need to use the "nomodetest" parameter in the boot line if your using the nouveau driver.
or you can try the Nvidia driver for your card.
