For those who are struggling with making and booting off USB,I just followed the instructions here and got 20.2 installed without a hitch: viewtopic.php?t=336841

AFAIK the BIOS of T100 doesn't allow booting from SD.

I've added a simple step to simulate mouse right click on the touchscreen by tap and hold (for 2 seconds or so).

The only two things not working are:
(1) Screen rotates but not so for the touchscreen
(2) The three side buttons on the left do not work at all (xev can't detect them).

In either case, the ASUS T100 Mint 20 works great.
The only two issues are: screen flip not yet working (will research) and Right mouse click not working to produce Rightclick menus.
Hi, can I ask how exactly did you solve the issue in bold? Or did you just go for the isorespin.sh option instead?
I think I have exactly the same problem with an Asus T100TAL.

Thanks!

I was able to create a bootable/ installable Mint 20.1 flash for the Asus t100ta!
Everything truly worked OOTB!

Problem: After installing and rebooting, it still booted into Win10 without giving a choice menu on startup, no matter what I pressed.
So, I re-installed on the second partition (Win10) which now boots into: BIOS.
Oops.

Now I am researching if the drive (internal card) can be simply reformatted with gparted and then use the USB install disk to re-install?
If anyone knows, I would appreciate knowing. Of course, I will do research as well.
Or, if it's preferred I make a new thread, I will do so - though it is a continuation of the ASUS conversion saga.

Again, Thanks all!
What commands did you use for isorespin? I have the same problem, the Mint installer is on isofs, which I cannot mount for write.

Isorespin does not work at all:
