Hello everyone I state that I am new to LINUX but old for PCs I take them apart and reassemble them from the times of the pentium II.
I have 2 older PCs that I wanted to reuse but they have audio problems.
The first is an AMD 64 3200 with 6gb of RAM on ASROCK ALIVE NF4G-DVI
If I plug in the speaker jack it doesn't recognize that the jack has been inserted.
With JABRA USB Headphones I could hear the audio test but not the sound (e.g. youtube video).
i read some posts around and i installed alsamixer which i then put in the startup apps.
Now through the headphones I also hear the audio as well as the tests but with the speakers via jack nothing.
The second is a compaq dc7700 pentiunm 2 3 ghz 3.5 gb ram
same speech with the jack you do not hear anything with jabra headphones is ok
can you recommend me something to do?
Thank you
