Audio recording Problems

Post by Palladini »

In the past week, I reinstalled Linux Mint 20.1 on an M2 Drive in my Computer. I attended a zoom Meeting on Monday and they said that I sounded like Micky Mouse. I have an Audio Mixer hooked to my Computer and and a Microphone hooked to it. I opened Cheese and recorded several videos and yes, the Audio recorded is just ridiculous, to say the least. I tried 2 Other wireless Microphone sets I had, with the same result, but these I did not run through the Audio Mixer, the Output of these was plugged right in the Audio jack. And for further information, I have Ubuntu Studio Installed on this computer also, and the same goes here.
I am at a total loss here, when I had Linux Mint and 2 Other Operating systems on a SSD, My sound Input worked fine.

Using Linux Mint since 2007, not programming smart, last program language I learned was called Basic on a Commodore 64
