Linux mint does not update the battery status

Post by omonk »

As the question says, when I unplug my laptop, the computer shows that it is still charging; and when my laptop is not charging, I plug it in, but the computer still shows that it is not charging and the performance is the same as when it is not charging. I initially thought it was a desktop environment issue, but after I logged out, the power status still did not update. Then I thought it was a kernel issue, but after I changed the kernel back to the default, the problem was still not resolved.
Here is my system information

In addition, reboot can refresh the battery status.

To be precise, there should be a delay in the battery status update. When I plug the laptop in, it takes a few minutes to wait (battery charge for a while?) The battery charge/discharge status will update ......

Just fyi, it doesn't help to get assistance when you reply to your own posts. Some people assume that if a thread has a reply then it's being attended to so it gets skipped. It's best to edit the first post if no replies have been made.

As for your battery status: viewtopic.php?p=2005465#p2005465

I doubt much can be done about it.
