When connecting video out to a second screen, there is no option for 480i or 480p resolution. How can we -
1.make this option available under screen mirroring and actually have it work and
2. turn off the display on the primary screen. In my case it is a laptop and I am using the s-video to RCA to RF converter.
A quick fix is good but a Mint/Debian level or better yet Kernel level solution would be better.
Is there a way to do this without selecting "mirror" under "Display"? A I missing something?
How to make screen mirroring show and output 480i and 480p, and turn off primary screen?

Have you tried setting the laptop's screen to 480p first before mirroring it?
