Recently I run into stunning issue
Got Bluetooth v. 5.0 dongle for my PC.
Dongle runs, responds, linux has no probs to find or list it all abilities, no driver issues.
Driver acts on all commands, as is present in kernel.
As my experience with Bluetooth was so seamless on other Linux called Android.
I was shocked HSP/HFP mode is not present ;(
And A2DP mode runs as charm.
Quickly fond that problem is ancient regime called PulseAudio.
So I did:
Code: Select all
sudo apt install pipewire
sudo apt install libspa-0.2-bluetooth
sudo apt install pipewire-audio-client-libraries
systemctl --user daemon-reload
systemctl --user --now disable pulseaudio.service pulseaudio.socket
systemctl --user mask pulseaudio
systemctl --user --now enable pipewire-media-session.service
Code: Select all
pactl info
Code: Select all
alsamixer
Yet HSP/HFP still not runs, although system allows to switch to it.
No sound tho ;(
I mean no sound in HSP/HFP, as rest is Sound
Do I still have PulseAudio running somewhere ?
Kill it ?
