Wireless mouse not working on linux mint

Post by cj-2307 »

Hi! I recently decided to use Linux Int on my notebook. Hovewer, recently my optical wireless mouse just stopped working. I tried to use a different USB port, reboot the notebook, but didn't work. I searched on the internet but didn't found a solution. Does any of you know how to help me solve this issue? Here are some commands that may help:

Re: Wireless mouse not working on linux mint

what is your mouse?
If you are plugging the dongle into a hub, try plugging it directly into the computer/laptop.

My Logitech M510 works fine w dongle plugged into Aluratek hub.

Hello,
Post output of

Code: Select all

xinput --list
to get infos about if and how your computer sees your mouse.

PS : for USB, it's not necessary to reboot to make it work. For a mouse, use USB2 (black plastic in slot) rather than USB3 (colored plastic, mostly blue) if possible.
dual boot LMDE4 (mostly) + LM19.3 Cinnamon (sometimes)
