Problems with touchpad (Macbook Air 13" Early 2015)

Post by Mored »

So I've successfully managed to duel-boot Linux Mint 20.2 Cinnamon (64-bit) on my 2015 Macbook Air, but I've ran into some annoyances with the touchpad. Firstly; the scrolling speed is way too fast and haven't found anything in the settings that allows me to change it. Secondly; I can't find a way to disable the 'tap-to-drag' feature, as I keep activating it frequently by accident as I'm not used to it coming from Mac OS X, and would prefer just to click and hold to drag. I tried disabling the feature using 'dconf editor' labelled 'tap-and-drag' in the touchpad folder, but that didn't seem to work.

I'm fairly new to Linux in general, so excuse my small amount of knowledge on the subject in advance.

Thanks! :D

On Linux Mint 20.3 Cinnamon there is an option to disable it in the Mouse/Touchpad settings.
