SiGma keyboard CTRL,WIN,ALT keys behave as shift

Post by OfirTIM »

Hello fella's!
I've recently installed mint as my primary, was tired of using windows for 10 years.
I bumped into a problem with my keyboard that when pressing keys CTRL, WIN & ALT, it behaves as SHIFT key, and does not let me do anything in particular.
I've tried working with a few open-sourced drivers from AziokBD-kdms, but none seem to work, I currently can't change language from English, and cannot do any short-cuts on my keyboard, as its all just SHIFT.

here's my Bus device list from

Code: Select all

lsusb
command:

Code: Select all

Bus 002 Device 002: ID 8087:8000 Intel Corp.
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Bus 001 Device 002: ID 8087:8008 Intel Corp.
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Bus 004 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0003 Linux Foundation 3.0 root hub
Bus 003 Device 005: ID 1c4f:0056 SiGma Micro USB Keyboard <-----/My keyboard
Bus 003 Device 004: ID 058f:3861 Alcor Micro Corp. USB 2.0 PC Camera
Bus 003 Device 003: ID 0a67:ffff Medeli Electronics Co., Ltd USB LCS AUDIO
Bus 003 Device 002: ID 0a12:0001 Cambridge Silicon Radio, Ltd Bluetooth Dongle (HCI mode)
Bus 003 Device 006: ID 1c4f:0074 SiGma Micro Usb Mouse
Bus 003 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
I've tried everything, including replugging my devices and putting them in different ports, I've tried changing Grub rules which resulted me in the pain with recovery mode and couldn't access my linux system for a few painful hours.
My mouse is detected as SiGma too but it works just fine and does not have any problems.
