mint v20. Hdd mount after unmount fails

Post by Joris-A »

System runs V20.2 on a ssd card
Hdd in an internal bay

use the following steps:
1:start system => system is running Hdd not mounted ( correct)

2:Mount Hdd working and usable.

3:unmount Hdd perfect working.

4:Mount Hdd oops fail message unable to mount location can't mount file. ( hhd still visual in computer map.

The only way to mount is to remove Hdd from bay and wait until Hdd is removed from Computer insert Hdd and mount.

I do need a quicker way.

Help will be appreciated.

4:Mount Hdd oops fail message
Are you mounting with the Disks program? If not, please do.
And give the exact error messages.

Sorry for the delay.
Some personal problems.
It looks like mint 2.02 solved the problem.

Thank you for your time
