USB mouse keeps just going on and off

USB mouse just keeps going on and off. Mouse works fine on Windows. Have two units, they both behave the same.

It's a suspicious aftermarket IntelliMouse. Works perfectly fine on Windows.

Different systems, but other mice work just fine on the Linux Mint one.

Out of curiosity, some photos of the internals of this mouse. Seems to be a new aftermarket board. PAW3333 sensor.
