Are you saying this happens in both Linux Mint 19.x and 20.x? Which version specifically. Which desktop environment.
Can you reproduce it while booted from the Linux Mint ISO?

- It happens on mint 19.X and mint 20.X installations.
- It happens on the cinnamon DE.
- I have not seen it happen while booted from the linux mint 19.X, or 20.X ISO.
