Hi all
just bought a cp1500pfclcd and was going to hook it up to my LM 20.2 via the SINGLE usb port when something struck me. I didn't know the best route to take to configure my server to shut down GENTLY should the power level on the cp1500pfclcd drop below a certain level. I looked into it an there seem to be two approaches
1 preferences/power management tab
2 installing apcupsd
I haven't tried either yet so I'm wondering which approach people prefer?
ALSO
I just found out that I only have 1 USB port on the back of the cp1500pfclcd and I want to have my synology DS220J NAS also shut down when the power goes low so has anyone configured LM 20.2 to act as a server to send a signal to DS220J telling it to shut down.
thanks for any help
