Back to Gloria

Postby JanG » Thu Dec 03, 2009 3:08 pm

I'am a total Mint-lover.
Never I will go back to Windows, and also not to another distro.

But, I'll go back to Gloria.
It just runs better as Helena.

All the new features are nice, but not so important for me.
I just need a fast and nice running system.
Helena is not running nice and fast.
Gloria did.

I'll wait for improvements.

- Asus mainboard
- Intel dual-core 2.2 Ghz
- 4 GB memory
- Nvidia 512MB PCI-E 16x
Mint 13, LMDE, Fedora 17, Suse 12.2

I think Helena is great. It builds on the core improvements in Ubuntu to make a customised useful distribution. With time I'm sure it will far surpass Gloria. Congratulations to the team.
