I've noticed this after upgrading to Mint 21.
This is a laptop with a touchpad and its hardware buttons enabled anyway, even when the touchpad is switched off (wither by hotkey keyboard shortcut or on the Cinnamon's Mouse and Touchpad settings). The bottom of the touchpad has physical buttons that do the clicking (and produce a clicking sound), it's not a function of the touch and tap part, you actually have to press it down to click.
And sometimes I press it with the palm of my hand, very annoying...
Any hints on how to solve this? Thank you very much!
Even when disabled, the touchpad's hardware buttons are enabled anyway
