Bluetooth Audio Connection Issue [ABANDONED]

Post by VVolfGar »

Just Updated to LM 21.0

While attempting to connect my Bluetooth Transceiver (APEKX _BR1001), Blueman reports that the device is connected until I go into Sound Settings to test. Once Sound Settings is launched, the device is disconnected. The device worked correctly before the updating to LM 21.0.

Thank you in advance for the help.

Re: Bluetooth Audio Connection Issue

Post by kato181 »

With the adapter connected, post the results of the following commands..

Code: Select all

lsusb

Code: Select all

sudo dmesg | grep -i Blue
Found the following on a web site it may help you..
Turn on your audio adapter, press and hold power button and volume "+" together at the same time for 5 seconds to remove the pairing device, the adapter will enter pairing mode automatically. And then activate the Bluetooth function of the cell phone to search the Bluetooth name "BR1001" and confirm pairing.
Hope it would help. see less

You need to hold the button down a little longer than it takes to power it on. Attach your headphones so you can hear the device talking to you. Hold the power button down - it’ll say on, but don’t let the button go - keep holding the button down until the Bluetooth connection is initiated.

I feel like an idiot for not seeing this reply earlier. I apologize.

Thank you for taking the time to answer it. Sadly, the laptop died. Thankfully, I just recently completed a new PC build.

I really appreciate you looking that up for me.
