back/forward with touchpad

Post by matm »

Hello

I have a Dell laptop with a nice touchpad. I would like to optimize it.

With MS Windows, I can have a 3-finger left/right swipe to do back/forward actions in the browser, and compatible apps. Can we achieve the same kind of configuration under Linux ?

sudo libinput list-devices gives :

Code: Select all

Device: DELL097D:00 04F3:311C Touchpad
Kernel: /dev/input/event19
Group: 9
Seat: seat0, default
Size: 150x88mm
Capabilities: pointer gesture
Tap-to-click: disabled
Tap-and-drag: enabled
Tap drag lock: disabled
Left-handed: disabled
Nat.scrolling: disabled
Middle emulation: disabled
Calibration: n/a
Scroll methods: *two-finger edge
Click methods: *button-areas clickfinger
Disable-w-typing: enabled
Accel profiles: none
Rotation: n/a

Any help welcome
