sony vaio tap touchpad - not able to click

Post by stoofman »

Hello guys,

I have a sony vaio tap installed with linux mint 21. This machine looks like a tablet with touchscreen and comes with a bluetooth keyboad + touchpad.
The touchpad works to move the mouse pointer around, but I cannot use the buttons to click. Tapping the touchpad also does not work.
I tried enabling tap to click in the mouse settings , no joy.
Any ideas ?
thanks

Please generate an overview of your system like this:
- Launch a terminal window (this is how to launch a terminal window);
- Make the terminal window full screen, to avoid chopped lines;
- Copy/paste this command into the terminal:

Code: Select all

inxi -Fxpmrz
(if you type: the letter F is a capital letter, and don't omit the space after inxi!)

Press Enter.

Copy/paste the output in your next message.
