Rocketfish purchased the low end Creative Soundblaster card. In sound preferences it shows the card as using the old CAO106 Soundblaster driver but it does not turn the card on!! Is there anything I can do to get this card working or is there just no driver to get this card to work??

I just started using Linux a week ago. My card worked perfectly using Windows. The card never worked in any of the live distro DVD's I had made to see which Linux distro was right for me.
When I took the plunge and dual booted my PC with WIn 7 and Linux Mint w/Cinn, I couldn't get the card to function I hope this helps someone that comes along that has the same card not get frustrated with Mint and give up.
