My nightmare began when i tried to compile Alsa 1.0.25 because i have some issues like Skype 2.2 experiences heavy delays if Pulseaudio is installed.
Skype 2.1 works fine with Pulse, so until now i block this packet.
In the end of compilation of Alsa 1.0.25 this has ended with an unexpected error and so, the system has rolled back.
But i lost my configuration.
So what i did :
- make uninstall
- make clean
- Restoring backed up files with checkinstall
After that, i have purged alsa-base and alsa-utils and reinstalled.
I recovered my sound back but with consequences : System Audio are Pops/crackles most of the times and i can't fix this. WHen Zenity give me a notification or when Linuxmint give me that too, there is somekind of weird noises in the end of the playback. A cracks, a pops or something weird but the sound is first read completely.
Thunderbird mail, the software can play notification if you receive mail, stops the playback before the file is ended. I have cheat on that by adding silence to the wave files so i can hear everythings anyway but this is a trick not a solution.
I decided to get rid of pulseaudio to use Alsa alone manually but this didn't help for this issue. So now Pulseaudio is restored.
When Linuxmint play long file like the welcome audio for example, which is Gnome Login Sound, it works perfectly.
WHen i'm listening music, movies etc... it works too.
WHen i'm using Audacity, its the same, it do its jobs.

But the funny stuff, i can't play anything with the Nvidia, there is an error which telling me something is not set properly and prevent it to play.
Also there is no way to purge reinstall libasound2 because its stuck by the system.
I have tried to use the cache with dpkg but he refuses too.
If i decide to purge libasound2, it will purge completely my system !
Please, i really need help, i did everythings i know, probably i don't know enough yet...
