Just installed Mint 17.1 Cinnamon and when trying to plug in usb sticks I get the following error msg.
System is up to date with all updates.
I am also running Virtual box and all guests that I have installed seem to have the same problem with attaching USB devices.
Is this a problem that is inherent to the new release of Mint ?
Could I correct this thru a command in a Terminal that would resolve it or is there something that can be added to one of the startup programs.
Thank You
Larry

Re: USB devices will not mount
Thank you so much for the help. It works just fine. I am using windows 8.1 as a host to Mint 17.1 and all now works for me.
