Lost automatic mount of USB stick for LDAP users

Post by mdebooy »

This happens for users that are authenticated through (Open)LDAP.

When on Mint 17.3 XFCE I connected an USB drive it was mounted automatically and was available for the connected user in /media/<userid>/<name-of-drive>. After the installation of Mint 18.1 XFCE I lost this feature. In the /var/log/syslog I find the following information:

I searched this forum for GVFS-RemoteVolumeMonitorDaemon-WARNING without success and also on the Internet I found nothing. The only thing I found was the way to do this with some commands so the possibility is still present. Does anybody know how to configure this option?
