DELETED WINDOWS PARTITION HAPPILY, How to bring that space

Post by 4thwall » Wed Apr 25, 2007 6:47 pm

I deleted my windows partition happily, (now that I can use wine really well), I just have a question, how can I add that partition that was deleted to my Linux Mint partition.

you cant just add it to your mint / partition.
some of us create a partition for /home at install but you can do it after too.
so you could change the partition to a linux partition format it as ext3 and make it /home.

there are instructions in the wiki for this.

http://www.linuxmint.com/wiki/index.php ... _partition

but if you really want to just make / bigger then you will have to reinstall. :(

:D
