18.3 resets bios clock

Post by timesmithcm » Mon Jan 08, 2018 12:53 am

On an HP Pavilion G6 with an AMD chip. It is dual boot with Win 10 that was an upgrade from 7.
When it boots into Linux the bios clock is reset to GMT.
Linux shows the correct local time but Windows shows GMT. If the clock is reset before boot up into Windows continues the correct local time is shown. If the next boot is into Windows the time is correct.
If the next boot is into Linux the clock resets and the next boot into Windows will show GMT again.
Clues?

You can either tell Mint to use localtime rather than UTC or Windows 10 to use UTC rather than localtime: http://ubuntuhandbook.org/index.php/201 ... indows-10/. The latter is preferred, but feel free.
